Days 7-8

I missed posting yesterday. It was one of those days where you forget to breathe deep until your head hits the pillow at night. Yesterday was a normal day of eating. It wasn’t all that normal for me. I ate a nutritious breakfast and didn’t have a chance to leave my office for anything until I drove home at 6 p.m. Dinner consisted of pulling homemade chili out of the fridge to warm up. After less than ½ of a bowl I was done.

I have noticed after this first week of following the SCF plan, my control is better. Have you noticed that? We have spent one full week disciplining the body to obey our will. I realize that this fight isn’t over—for sure I will fall back if I quit now. I have been told that to create a new habit you must strictly discipline yourself for at least 90 days. That is 4 weeks longer than the SCF plan. I hope you will join me in prayerfully considering keeping this commitment the full 90 days.

Today is a half day. You will eat half portions of each meal. This half day should be much easier for you than the first half day.

How was week 1 for you? Leave me a comment answering the following 3 questions:

  1. How do you feel physically?
  2. How do you feel spiritually?
  3. What has been the biggest change for you?
