Yesterday (Sunday) was a half day. The weather here in NC was beautiful so I had this brilliant idea that I would go for a jog outside. After my half portion of lunch, I laced up my Asics and headed out the door with my 5lb Pomeranian in tow. My thought was that I would enjoy God’s beautiful creation and my Pomeranian, Alvin, would get his exercise. I’m sure we were quite a sight! Alvin’s four little feet were moving at three times the speed of my 5’6” frame. No time for distractions—he stayed the course and kept up as best he could. On our way back to the house he gave me such a pitiful look that I carried him home.
I am so glad I pushed through the battle in my mind and went jogging outside. All the way home from church that morning I was going back and forth with my decision. Normally I would rest on Sunday and not exercise. However, it was such a beautiful day I felt lazy not taking advantage of it. Can I just remind you that Treadmill running does not compare to outdoor running? I hobbled back to the house after 30 minutes outside and threw myself on the bed exhausted. I spent the next hour watching the Food Network…..there is something wrong with that, I just don’t know what.
Today is a liquid day.
This week (Thursday) I will be jetting off out of country. Hopefully I will have internet access and can continue to blog daily. If I don’t update, continue to follow the plan. You can click here if you need a guide.
Several weeks ago I posted about our Uniqueness. A lovely reader, and friend, sent me an email with a short description of her uniqueness. I LOVED what she wrote and I thought it would be a good idea to hear from the rest of you. So, leave me a comment with what is unique about you.
